

2004 Syrah, Santa Barbara County
Smaller vineyards throughout the Santa Ynez Valley and Los Alamos contributed to this 100% Syrah blend. The wine has been aged in oak barrels for over three years so it is smooth yet still complex. There is definite dark berries and spice along with yet untamed tannins (the wild side.) Cellar time should lead to 6-8 years. Excellent matching for steak, lamb and braised meat stews. Try with Ratatouille!
